That was my question. I emailed them this afternoon.

I was going to buy those, it looked like a good price. Until I saw the:

"specifically designed for use in your SAMMY, RODEO, and ARISOCRAT Pachislo slot machine. "

To me that reads "won't work in some other machines." Maybe they're a little off size (too thick?) and won't pass through the coin mech on some brands. For me it's not worth taking a chance. They put that disclaimer in there for some reason.

It's a misnomer to call it a quater size token. A quarter is slightly smaller. The tokens we use are 25mm. But having said that, the tokens in the listing will fit your machine to be. As far as if you get 500 or 1000, that's a baffle to me? Email them and ask, or bid and demand 1000 if you win. Anywho for $40 shipped for 1000 tokens, that would be cheap! But I'm guessing it is a misprint (typo).

    Edit:
Actually after reading gwarzin's post and rereading the ebay listing, that would worry me as well. Maybe thickness could be an issue?

    Utopia1dc,

You must have been typing your post while the last 2 messages came in. It is 1000. But it looks like they might not work in all machinces. See the last 2 posts.

Just wanted to make sure no one else missed seeing my last post and ended up with a bunch of tokens that might not work in all their machines.

hmmm......to buy, or not to buy.......that is the question....
well, does anyone have one of those machines listed? because that would help, do those machines take different tokens?

After looking at, stealth's web sit, they have a bunch of those machines on their web site...some are premium and some are regular....but all in all, none of them say anything about needing different sized tokens in the description.....well, i think I'm going to take a chance with it....im sure i can get rid of em if they don't work.....

Well at that price and shipping free, I am going to give them a try. My Marine Carnival machine is listed as guaranteed to work in so I will have one machine they will work in. The tokens I have been using I have used in all my machines, so may be I will be lucky and they will work in all 3(soon to be 4). If I get them before they are all sold out I may buy more if they work fine.
    and a few others.

My Sammy and Aristocrat machine will NOT take the thicker tokens at all. The tokens that work in my Sammy and Aristocrat machines will work in ALL of my machines, but not the other way around

I watched you mix it up for at least 3 machines tonight, but a few with deeper pockets were out too.

$39.99 is a heckuva a good price for 1000 tokens including shipping. I do wonder why they specifically say they work in certain machines, though? That's a strange thing to state. :?:

I purchased a 1000 from Republic to. They were different thicknesses. Like the previous post, I had only about 5 that didn't work. I have a Fuji and a Rodeo, so different thicknesses are fine with them.

Seems to me that over the past couple of months token prices have come down or at least are being put on sale quite often. Too bad Republic went out of business 'cause now pachinko balls are in my opinion a little overpriced. Hope we can find a vendor that will start selling those cheaper soon.
