Default Pachinko Parlor in the United States?

Has anyone ever considered opening a pachinko parlor in the United States? All of my friends are asking if they can play my one pachinko machine and are let down when i tell them the restoration isn't complete. I live in Los Angeles and a shop like this would catch on like wild fire! I can only imagine the collective interest generated by multiple machines would be massive enough to draw a large crowd and could possibly take in enough revenue to sustain the endeavor.

    Other questions:

Is this a bad idea; if so, why?

What are the pros and cons for serving alcohol in the parlor?

How would you charge patrons if alcohol wasn't available?

How many machines would you recommend for the parlor?

How much capital would be needed to start?

There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."
