Hopefully this picture does some justice. The lift that raises the ball into the launcher is the piece that has broken off. And for the record I own a SRT-4, thought you might like to hear that haha.

I've owned two Dodge vehicles in my life. The first was a 1966 Dodge Dart with a slant 6 and three in the tree column shift. Excellent car! That one lasted me a very long time. The second was a 1996 Dodge Caravan. Total piece of junk. Spent more time in the service bay than on the road. After the engine blew at 19K miles (and Chrysler didn't want to honor their mfg warranty until I threatened legal action), I traded it in for a Chevy Suburban. I've been happily driving Chevy's ever since.

OK, well I'm guessing this would not be the best time to bring up my Lexus convertible.

(and yes, I know, we've strayed WAAAY off-topic here.)

To get things back on topic...I'm still not sure what piece is missing from the OP's part. I'd be very curious to see a picture of the "fixed" part when he gets it done.

he is missing the lifter... the small piece of (usualy) clear plastic that lifts one ball at a time onto the shooter track... each time the lever is pulled back the missing piece lowers allowing one ball to rest on it... when the shooter let go it fires the ball onto the play cell.. at the same time as the shot is fired the missing piece lifts said ball up for the next shot..

take a look at his pics then watch the vid for the piece moving straight up and down.. it has about 7 to 11 MM of travel

Oh man I'm going to get ban for turning pachitalk into mopartalk haha. I started to fabricate the part out of a material called lexan. Lexan is a very high end material that is shatter proof, so its a pretty high step up from acrylic. It is coming out excellent and I will post before and after pictures for everyone when I'm done. Hope I'm building some anticipation haha.

And for the record Dodge and Ford both make excellent cars but every once and while they produce a "lemon"(mostly Ford).

Ford produce a lemon...whatever do you mean??? Well, yeah I guess Edsel's were...one critic described them as looking like an Oldsmobile sucking on a lemon...EDSEL: Every Day Something Else Leaks... Oh, the pain of it all.
Good luck with the construction of the shooter part. Sounds like you have a plan.

I've had my 1999 ford escort for 9 years driving under 5,000 mile a year and besides regular maintance, tires and battery,

i've only needed a new thermostat and a part for my brake pedal.

ITS ALIVE MUAHAHAHA. Well, the part is finally complete and works like a charm. It has been made a lot more bulky than the last one for obvious reasons. The piece has not yet been buffed so it is not the most beautiful creation but I figured now would be a good time to post some pictures. Id like to take the time to thank everyone for their efforts, without this forum the machine would have never been fixed. When I'm done fixing all the electrical contacts and doing some fine tuning I will make a video and upload it.
