Chako is new!
Good day everyone. I am not all that good at this sort of introduction stuff, but I shall endeavour to give you a little bit about myself and why I found myself on this forum.
A couple of years ago, I came across a Pachinko machine being sold by Hammacher Schlemmer in their holiday catalog. I didn't know what it was let alone what it was used for. After a little online sleuthing, I came across an article that talked about how gambling in Japan was illegal and how they got around that. I figured it looked interesting and might be fun to play.
Recently, I decided to type in Pachinko into eBay and came across a few AC Warehouse, and decided I would get my first machine to see what all the fuss is about. Before I buy anything, I like to do a spot of research, and came across this forum. I did an online search prior to finding this informative site, and quickly found out that AC Warehouse is Imatrix Canada.
I will say a big thank you. This resource is a bright light amongst the lack of information that seems to exist on the net regarding this topic. Mind you, I could be looking at all the wrong places. I decided to join to see all the embedded photos.
Well during my deep digging/reading of this forum, the machine I wanted to get sold on me (Tiger Mask), and so did another that I was looking at. That only left two other machines, Super Stadium and Hyper Passion. After a little more digging, I decided to purchase Super Stadium. This will be my first Pachinko machine. I also bought a cabinet and 500 more balls from the same company. Monkey Passion, aka AC Warehouse, aka Imatrix. Not sure why they have so many names, but reading this forum has given me the general notion that I shouldn't be all that afraid to buy from them (Although having so many online identities sort of gave me the gut feeling to turn around and run away).
So time will tell if everything will turn out well in the end, and possibly, I may like Pachinko (I have never seen let alone played a game).
A little about myself. I am an educator residing in Canada. I am into all sorts of hobbies and collections.
