It didn't like a few on the original upload, so here's a couple that were missed.

I'll give that a try. I put some balls in it, but didn't think to put tokens in it as I thought the payout would be balls, not tokens.

nope it should only have 16 balls.. (unless ya put more in) a token will drop the 16 balls to be shot... if ya get a winning combination of numbers it will pay out tokens.. the quantity of tokens depends on the machine and out its configured..

do a search for "Arrange ball" machine there are a few posts.. actually there is a whole section dedicated to them

Pays out tokens. There's a micro switch in the coin tube that turns on the low token light. You can disable this switch by bending the tab or crossing the wires depending on of the switch is normally open or closed. The game should still work even with no tokens. I've yet to see an arrangeball that electronically stops the game from playing when tokens are low when thecroken insert switch is tripped. Anyway, you should thoroughly check the machine for stuck stray balls or tokens from shipping and misuse, etc. A metal object wedged between a circuit board and something else will give you a large paperweight.

New year, new efforts. Added some cross braces to the pachinko bases, put half the pachinkos up to see how they looked. I still need to work on a ball routine mechanism, and install volume controls on a few of them as well as doing some more framework. There will be partitions between each one so won't be any real room left on the wall once I get the uprights in. I'm going to cap the front of the bases too with something as well as route the wiring better and possibly add doors to the bases (bases will hold board games).

Some of the other pachinkos aren't up there yet. I picked up a few not too long ago along with a 'pumpking' face which had the wires clipped so isn't currently a functional pachinko. However I'm pondering rigging a launcher, and possibly using a Raspberry PI with a small PI screen to rig a semi-homemade pachinko. I also picked up a non-Pachinko item at the fall ChicagoLand show; a Cyclone pinball. I purposefully took my small wagon so I wouldn't bring home anything big, but then ended up getting this. It was on my wish list for quite a while as I used to play one of these all the time while waiting for a lane at the bowling alley. Since the top needed fully removed to get it into the car, there were a lot of wires to reconnect. A-M alphabetically. Went through and labeled the connectors one by one as they were disconnected; then had a sheet of paper with the letters written down that I checked off as they were reconnected.

Ignore the styrofoam balls and stuff on the floor, I killed some packing stuff before setting ut up and was too lazy to vacuum before taking pics. The stack of plastic containers was actually my 'jack' to hold the pinball up while I attached the back set of legs.

Got some 2x6's and did some pocket holes, used some 2x4s to cross brace and that's what the pachinko will rest on. I'm going to add some risers on the sides, then likely drop the balls behind the machines into the cabinet, possibly tilted over to the center for collection... then somehow lift em back up to the top and dispense them. I thought of going the full 8 back like my other cabinets, but then figured even 6 is probably overkill since it is a wall. Will bolt this down to the bases above. Will either bolt that to the wall, or something as it will be a lot of weight on the front portion of the cabinets and I don't want it to tilt.

Doodled up a funnel to carve and will drill the hole manually afterward, so that would be 6 of those. Probably not the finished way I'll do it but will beat the ramps I put on my AvantGarde. Bolted 6 seats to rails to use as seats in front of it. Need to build legs/base of the right height to be comfy sitting/playing. I wanted the ones with handles on the ends, but was more thinking of handle-less ones in the middle so I'll probably swap that one with the handle out for one without a handle... or may go all handle-less. If I remember correctly, the pachinko seat covers I have fit over those seats.

I did pretty good tonight; cut all the 2x6 uprights, pocket holed em, and assembled the thing so far. The 2x4s that are 20.5 wide I cut and holed a few days ago. There will be a bit of a gap between the 2x6's 45 degree top and the actual ceiling there. I wanted it still free standing. The front I plan to put a face on, hoping to carve stuff for it.

I'm so slow at getting that finished upstairs. Anyhow, got a 'new' Star Wars 2 (Revenge of Vader) in tonight. Lugged it up to the 3rd floor, powered it on, Error 83, added balls, hit the reset, powered off/on and away it went. This one has volume controls already so is pretty much ready to mount when I get unlazy.

Well, boy am I embarrassed... Apparently it is Battle of Vader, not Revenge of Vader. I thought it odd that it wasn't a Vader mask descending and there wasn't a light saber visible. Oh well.

New Star Wars (the first one), drove 75 miles each way to grab it today. Any heavy breathing in the video is from me carrying it up to the 3rd floor just before capturing the video.

Picked up a "new" Joker's Wild Pachislo tonight. Haven't plugged it in yet here. It was advertised on the local Craigslist as a "Chinese slot machine" and said it lights up when powered on but the tokens just fall through and it came with 400 tokens (in theory, I didn't count em).

I'm thinking it's an easy fix as I think my other one does that when you have no tokens in the hopper to win. Also noticed the interior key wasn't turned to on also. All I've done so far is bring it home, then wiped down the inside, and used some Lysol on the outside (got the ring/stains off the top easily). Then lugged it into the house and up to the 2nd floor landing. Need lugged up to the 3rd floor yet but I decided it was time for a break

It was $50 and just 15 minutes from home (probably less if someone hadn't gone past it a block and had to turn around)

Since then I picked up a Bubble Bobble. Still goofing with it as it has either a bE error or a 6E error. I think the spin handle/sensor needs something too. Didn't play with it much because I took it to the 3rd floor and it is toasty up there.

The Bubble Bobble was 2.5 hours each way, which was a bit of a drive.

Sunday I drove 1.5 hours each way to pick up a Babel. This one is in fine working order, I think it has a bulb out, for the top "2medal" light, but I have spares. It seems to require always betting 3 tokens to spin. Also the spin handle goes to the right to spin instead of down. I haven't opened it since I got it home but it played fine when I picked it up. 1.5 hours each way is a whole lot closer than 2.5, especially since I did the drive on a Sunday and stopped by my parents midway on the way back to wish my dad a happy Father's Day. Well worth the $50 he wanted. It has good handles on the side for carrying, and somehow seems lighter than the Bubble Bobble even though it is taller. Might be just because the handles make it easy to carry. I'll post more pics when I open it. Oh, there's no key for the lock, a large screwdriver is used to turn it.

Picked up two "new" pachislos today. A Hanabi with no lock, and a DelSol. I was surprised the Hanabi was as tall as the other since it doesn't have a 4th reel. I'm not keeping both; friend wanted one for her dad so I grabbed em and told her she could have her choice. Hanabi was $50, DelSol was $100. Please ignore the messy car. I think the Hanabi needs a few bulbs replaced, noticed the left reel was dark when they showed me it worked. I have spares.

Woe is me. After being stalled since March 2020 after completing the base of the west pachinko wall, I finally made it out to get the 137.5" 2x6 for the base of the uprights a week or so ago, and then did the uprights and got that pretty much ready. Put the 4 pachinkos that were sitting around up here without cabinets in, carried Yellow cab up to the 3rd floor from the 1st floor and put it in. Then being lazy and because it was the last video one I had on the 1st floor that wasn't in a cabinet already, I brought up Milky Bar. I have about 18 pachinkos... 11 went fine into the walls as I did 20.75 wide spots... but no, Milky Bar is a full 21 inches wide. So now I need to determine if I want to pull one from a cabinet and put in that spot, or... get a new pachinko! Ha. I could use that as an excuse to get a new one that fits.
