Default One of my other hobbies

I have been building model cars and planes on and off for over 20 years even if before tonight I had not touched a kit in almost 3 years (being without a girlfriend right now I find myself with too much spare time) but I got some good comments in the shoutbox over the one I put together today (painted it around 4 years ago) and thought I would share some pics of my displayed works

If you spot the duplicates it is due to the fact I buy and build 3 of each model most of the time. I build one unpainted to see how it will go together and to see any issues I will have with the kit. Then I paint the other two and build, that way if I have troubles or a total failure I can use parts from or build the second one. If it goes without a hitch I will build a second painted on with ether the custom setup from the kit or use leftover parts from my junk box and do my own custom. I hope to get back into building again but will most likely have to start over with my paint setup as my paints are all 5 years old or so and I think they are all dry or otherwise dead.

This is a very cool hobby! I assembled many of these plastic models as a kid and really enjoyed the craft. I tried to get my own kids interested in the hobby years ago, but failed since there wasn't a joystick involved.

I like that you still have all of your models and that they are displayed so nicely.

There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

Okay, so I have dug in boxes and found my other cars and have also been building the rest of the ones I painted 7-9 years ago that got boxed back up and almost forgotten. I am almost to the limit of what the shelves can hold and there are around 40 not up right now.

Points to anyone that can Identify the car in the last two pics and bonus points if you can tell me what show it is from and who owns it
