Ball Launcher not getting any balls

Hello,

This is my first time on the forums. I have a Maruhon Super Fine Plan MVP that I bought on eBay several years ago. When I bough it worked, but it has been sitting since I've been redoing my basement.

I tried to get it to work today. I have the balls loaded in the top tray and balls in the bottom tray waiting to be shot.

When I turn the knob for the ball launcher, I hear it spinning and trying to shoot, but nothing happens. From the back, I can see the mechanism spinning trying to grab the ball.

Any suggestions on where to start?

have you tryed to open the bottom shooer door/cover and see of there is a ball stuck or dust bunny keeping the balls out???

When this happen to me I opened up the shooter mechanism and I notices a lip/divot in the balldrop tunnel are RIGHT before the ball came out... A careful use of the dremel tool made fast work of it and the machine performs like new! NOT sure if that is your issue but it sounds TOO similar to mine so I thought I would offer that up!

I don't have a key for this machine and I haven't had any success opening the door cover. Any suggestions on where to look?

on the back side as your looking at the machine ... usualy about 40% of the way down on the left side there is a lever... most machines the lever is lifted up to open the glass... some are pushed down...

once the glass is open there is a small latch in the front of the machine... is shoule be on the left sied again..(as your facing the front of the machine) you can push it down to swing open the lower shooter tray...

if you can not find it post a pic of your machine and we can help ya out... Pics are always good

Thanks everyone for their replies. I was able to find the latch to open the glass and then open the ball launcher cover.

Sure enough, a tiny screw somehow made it's way into the ball feed.

I got the machine working again!
