How I spent MY Black Friday

I don't exactly find pleasure in overcrowded parking lots or squeezing through a sea of inconsiderate pre-holiday shoppers,
just to save a lil scratch for the holidays.
Quite honestly . . . I think the whole concept of "Black Friday" is ludicrous.
This year there was a fist fight over trampolines at our local Wal*Mart supercenter . . . . trampolines, wtf
"Peace on Earth, Goodwill towar. . . get yer mit's off my @%#!*$ trampoline!!!"
Way to prepare for the celebration of the birth of one's Lord.

Instead of adding to, or becoming part of the Black Friday statistic...
I enjoyed a quiet day at home, becoming better acquainted with my King Kong pachislo.
I had received it from Rita this past March, but I never really got a chance to play it to death.
It was so ridiculously loud that I couldn't stand to play it at all.
I installed FTKservices' volume controls in it at the end of Summer, & they tamed the beast.

So this Black Friday, it was just me & Kong . . . Oh & my brand new Biohazard.
Last Thursday, I received the only one that Rita had gotten.
Of course it's in showroom condition, & she saved me more money than GEICO.
There's another dealer on the web with these (or so their site states). . . but they are definitely more pricey.

The Biohazard only has one line of play. . . not excited about that.
And if you've ever played the Resident Evil remake on the Nintendo Gamecube. . . you've seen every video clip this title has to offer.
There are 5 bosses to battle, & once you advance past one's reach segments... you battle that boss in the BB.
I really wish they had included the zombie sharks & the giant tarantula, but I'm nitpicking.
The Screen is HUGE, the light show is awesome & the bonus tunes compare to rock tracks from Rammstein.

I took the lady i drive grocery shopping I got 32.00 worth of groceries for 21.00

then went to goodwill bargain barn and found a working nintendo gameboy advance SP for $5.00.

I ordered an ac charger from china for it for under 2.50 shipped.

thats all the money i spent on black friday

I do not see a Bio hazard or King Kong Pachislo in my future but they look REALLY amazing!
That's GREAT way to spend a Black Friday!

My brother BEGGED me to go to midnight madness at the premium outlets! I gave in against my better judgement... 35-40 EASY ride minutes to get there, 60-70 minutes to get in and FIND a parking spot! When we get close he got out of the car and said call me when find a spot!
That took me another 45-50 minutes! WHAT a guy, that is the LAST tine I DO NOT listen to my inner self... TO be honest I DID some amazing deals on socks, thermal underwear, work shirts etc. Though to be honest I DID score a very fancy pair of Oakely M-frames for UNDER $50! ( SEE I live quite the exciting life when I go shopping! )

Glad you got those volume controls for your King Kong so you could enjoy it! I NEVER get a machine without them I learned after my first! I learned MY lesson really fast!

haha! I did the same but spent time with my Mahjong and Ute ute Jyanshi!

I was watching the local news when they popped a box to the right of the anchorwoman... "Tramplings" lol are you serious...

It was stated in a way that it seems almost expected that someone WILL get trampled on black friday.

On top of that they showed a short clip of I think a Staples opening. One man and woman ALLLMOST got trampled, with the guy seeming like he actually got a little crush and was in pain. He was clinging to the railway as he staggered into the store like Agrh! that @%^%#$ Hurt but man I gotta get some of these deals!
