LCD Replacment/Repair for 1990's Nishijin?

Hi there. Long time member, but I've only posted a handful of times. I thought I'd get back into the hobby again after a couple year hiatus. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's had LCD screens go bad on machines, but I'd imagine it's a lot harder to find replacments for the ealier 90's models that had the smaller screens, as opposed to the newer stuff that I'm sure is still currently produced. Here's a pic of the burned out pixels on my Nishijin "Success Story" machine. The blob has gotten about 1/3 bigger over the past year or so.


I did do a search of the forums, but has anyone had any experience in fixing this kind of problem (no just a ONE pixel burnout)? Would anyone be willing to point me in the right direction for possible repair or replacement of the screen? It looks to be a 3.5" x 2.25" screen. From the looks of the assembly in the back of the machine, I'm pretty sure that if were to try to remove the screen myself, I'd screw something up permanently

Compirate used a lcd screen from either a ps2 or gamecube portable screen.

I don't remember what the exact size was
