Anyone else notice that in the recent Slotusa ebay postings, that the line:

Ships to: Will arrange for local pickup only (no shipping).

appears? It says in the body of the posting that they ship to the main 48 for $69, but clearly states at the top and bottom that there is no shipping, only local pickup. I sent them email asking, but haven't had a reply. Can they even sell them as a local pickup in California? I assume there was just an error during posting. Here's a link to one of the posts.

That has to be a misprint (typo). They can't sell them in CA. :-?

I won one that was marked that way before I picked up on that detail. I sent them a question asking about the internal inconsistency of their auction, but have not received a response yet. I checked out through their system, and it automatically charged me $69 shipping to deliver to my house in AZ, so I am assuming it was a mistake. A potentially costly mistake for them since they probably scared off a bunch of potential bidders.

Yes, I was going to bid on one of the items, but didn't when I saw the "local pickup only". I just got an email from them saying, yes, it was a posting error. I thought it probably was, but didnt' want to commit without finding out. Should have just gone for it. (I would have tried for the Shake.... since my wife never did get her Pink Boo......) :-)

I also got a reply from Slotusa, they said the local shipping only comment was an error in the listing. They must have answered out e-mails at the same time :-) They expect to ship for $69. They did not comment as to whether or not local pick-up is available, but I didn't ask, either.

If my FedEx info is accurate, then for my Outlaw, SlotsUSA has quickened up the shipping. I won it on Sunday night, and FedEx says they'll deliver it Thursday :-)

Outlaw showed up on Friday. Sunday evening auction, friday delivery seems pretty good to me. The machine survived the trip intact. The packaging wasn't bad, but I have seen better. The machine was in a plastic bag, inside a single, double wall cardboard box, surrounded by pillows of packing peanuts. The machine had managed to get a little twisted in the box, and one corner was coming in contact with the box itself, but there was minimal, if any trama. The machine is nice and clean, works great, I'm happy
