    Default Daiichi Tune Up

Here are some pics of my buddy's Daiichi that cleaned up for him. I made some feet for it, replaced the plexi, cleaned up the cell, shined the nails, repainted the top feature, and got the lights working. He had it sitting unused in storage, and after we got it working and the mechanicals cleaned up, he and his kids are starting to enjoy it. I don't know that I'll get him onto pachitalk, but here's hoping. One problem with the machine, it's missing a chunk off of the front ball tray. The good news is that it still holds balls just fine, and if they do happen to overflow at that point they fall into the lower ball tray. Regardless, I think it's a neat looking machine, although I never did figure how to get the ball tray/shooter mechanism detached from the rest of the machine. I'll have to get it back from him and figure that out sometime. Enjoy the pics!

I always liked that angled window thing on daiichi's, but my first machine was one about this age and I probably still have that "first love" thing going.

Now if I could just get you to come by my place and clean up all of my machines.

A real nice job of fixing it up.
