only way round is sent to me if you are desperate and i would post on to the us of corse should it be a machine it would be cleaned and "tested" first

This is not good news! Not only for those of us who enjoy and appreciate the machines, but think what eBay and CraigsList will look like because of this.

The Japan Post announced today, just two weeks after instituting its ban on 1 lb+ shipments to the United States, that the policy has been now been lifted. While there was a lot of speculation as to what the policy had originally entailed, it's null and void as you can send and receive everything that you need to.
The one change that is going through though is that packages may be delayed slightly due to increased security screenings. The explanation given is that this is due to the TSA's additional measures and not that of the Japan Post. Things are now finally getting back to normal.
