Default Can you identify this pachinko?

I recently bought 10 machines at a moving sale. 5 vintage and 5 modern. From the little I know this is a Hanemono pachinko. It looks like an office theme. There is a clock on the left showing 9 o'clock and one to the right showing 5 o'clock. There are several telephones, a copy machine, what looks to be a fax and other items you would find in an office. The odd thing is that in the center it appears to be a ladies restroom. I noticed the symbol for a ladies restroom over it and the woman in the center is on a toilet. Anyway can anyone tell me what this is? By the way it seems to work perfectly.

Here are photos of the other 4 modern pachinkos I recently found. I will start a new thread under vintage pachinko with photos of the 5 vintage pachinkos I also found. If anyone can help me identify these I would greatly appreciate it.

Might be time to start looking at this pachinko database we often use, yourself, and see if you can find them?

Here's the Sankyo entries, starting at the oldest on page 28 and from there, you can work forward until you see a match or two.

    Mansai 777

The main page has entries for each Manufacturer - if you can figure the katakana for each manufacturer name (some are in Engish), you can find info on every machine by any maker.

    Good luck!

The trouble with Japanese is that grammatically, its in reverse to English. So you can often translate the words, but the meaning is lost in the translation (excuse the pun!!) So I can give you plenty of great online word translation resources, but actually divining meaning out of the jumble you get back (ala Google Translate) means you are best served by actually understanding the Japanese language at least a little bit, or even speaking a modicum of it.

Serious students of pachinko on these pages are paying translators to do their manuals and so forth - for good reason. Its a tough language to break down and get exact meanings on.

This is a great translator though and I use it pretty much exclusively - have a gander and see if its useful to you?

The Oribe Kinjirō machine is actually based on the 1998 movie Pro Golfer Oribe Kinjirō 5. The movie series was based on the manga.

Of the 5 I think the Office Lady is my favorite. It is a hanemono pachinko. It is a lot of fun to play. I think I would like to get another hanemono. Maybe something a little more recent would be interesting. I understand that not many of these are being made.

Some still come out every year, its just less likely that many will be brought over here by vendors..Its just more likely that they can sell a Star Wars or other themed machine..But keep looking, Cool hanemonos pop up on ebay and CL from time to time!!

Check this link for a DB of many older and recent hanemonos.
