Wink Easy Sanyo Comet 2 Power hook up

So my two Sanyo Comet 2's are all cleaned up and ready to hook up the lights. Oh my, a tiny three pin connector...haven't run across these on my Nishijins or Sankyos or Manako. Didn't want to make any modifications on the machines and I knew getting a three pin female connecor would probably be impossible. I got a package of 12-18 gauge insulated butt connectors (yes, the package calls them butt connectors ) used for telephone wire. Crimped the ends of the wires from a 9 volt portable phone power cord and plugged them in to the top two pins. Works great!

nice. thank you. I have a comet II as well, and the aforementioned butt connectors. I was scared of blowing the lights, but i guess thats what fuses are for. what amperage is on the power supply you used i have a bunch of 9volts lying around as well.

hah... circuit slang for an AC adapter. After seeing that the factory ones are 10v reckon it'd take some serious amps to blow it with a 9v. I got a 250ma for an old ryobi drill... sweet gonna fix that as soon as my support ticket post gets approved and you pachi-masters help me out.

    cool board.

No its just a lowley 383 4 speed car... it was ordered as the top option car.. weeks before delivery (back then most all high option cars were special order) Ma MoPar announced the 426 option.. the then owner of the car went to his boss and asked if the dealership would keep the car as a dealer car and allow him to order a new car... his boss said no!!! so he was stuck with this one

    thanks for noticing

After hours edit: I see by actually reading your post that we're dealing with the top two. So + and - don't matter then?

Doesn't matter which ( + or - ) as long as you use the top 2 pins. The bottom pin isn't used as it was used to signal the worker that the ball tray was empty.
