Default Start error on my Star Wars Darth Vader!!!

    Hello Pachitalk members...
I recently turned on my Star Wars Darth Vader pachinko machine and this strange error popped up with strobe lights flashing. The machine speaks in Japanese and fortunately my mom came by to translate for me and it says something to the effect of
"Please press the main game switch on the start button on top of the main board for the game to start"
I've tried everything and nothing seems to work. At first I thought this was a simple flip of the switch of the on/off button but this did not work. Please help!!!

star wars machines seem to need a warm up time, leqve it on for about 5 mins, then shut off and turn back on.

if that doesn't work you should have a small red reset button on the back, hold it in while turning on the pachinko

    Hey luckydog,
I've left it on for 30 minutes and also tried to reset button but with no success.
From what I understand the machine is saying having it work is as simple as pressing a start switch somewhere on the main board?

IF its the same thing as my Eva 5 machine there is a tiny reset button the back of the machine. That was the solution for me that I got here! take a look for small buttons in the back! I did that my machine reset and life was good!

I know luckydog said to hold the reset button while turning on the machine but this doesn't seem to do anything. Can someone explain what i should see or notice differently holding the reset button down as opposed to just turning it on?

Most machines have two reset buttons. One on the frame and one on the cell. When you hear the voice telling you to push the button use the one on the cell. Usually no need to turn the machine off. I face this alarm everytime I switch cells on my Kyoraku frame.

    To Montana and jmaclerran,

Thank you to both of you...I had no idea there is a second reset button as the one in the middle hardly looks like a button at all. In the end, it worked and I am so happy!!!

P.S. I also e-mailed Rita at Blue Hotaru and she got back super quick and sent me a pic of where to locate this button. Major thanks to her as well.
