It's a Newgin machine. Same frame as my 'Trio' machine. With the name 'Jack' on it, I wonder if it's 'Jack and the Beanstalk'.

Did you call yet? If not, what'cha waiting for!!

What do you think about price though? $150 seems a bit much when I could get a Thunderbirds minus the shipping... What do you value your Trio at and what did you pay?

I can add that that's a Deji-pachi, not a Hanemono. (Will do the slot-machine reels thing when you get a ball in the right pocket, and go into a massive jackpot mode if the reels line up.) Can't tell from the picture if the center feature is a video or physical.

Shipping costs a lot, and Pachi values are very, VERY subjective. I've paid as little as $20 and as much as $160, including shipping in the price.

$150 is a reasonable asking price. Always offer less, and always carry cash.

Balls are worth something too. You can get 2K for about $75 shipped on ebay if you're willing to wait for a favorable auction. If you're having trouble eyeballing number of balls, use the back hopper as a guide... figure it will hold about 1000 balls.

Best advice I've got: If it is only 20 min away, go and look.

Theme and play are king. If you like it, it is worth more. Buy it if you like the theme and are satisfied with the condition... don't if you don't.

    Hi, and welcome.

This is Newgin's EXCITE JACK, a very popular old deji-pachi from the 90's which I played a bit when in Japan. It's OK - if you like deji's (which I don't really). Newgin had a whole series of 'Excite' machines in various forms (hane, deji, and arepachi's)

Ahh, this one is better... complete with over-excited Japanese announcer-san giving you full details!

I think $150 is a fair starting price. Anytime you can pick up is ALWAYS better than risking damage in shipping. You'll see exactly what you're getting and have a chance to try it out before committing.

I will let you all know how this develops, I still would really like a Thunderbirds or something more "high tech" as it stands ha

Well I made the error of running out of patience, Went and brought a different machine, then a month later the one I really wanted appeared on YJA and at a cheaper "Buy It Now" price than the one I brought.
So I'd say make them an offer. If its meant to be they will except, or if not. Keep looking.

Ha! Be careful... this can be addictive! I have acquired a LOT of machines in a very short period of time.

I have no regrets. These things are like potato chips. Well... Except you can't eat them... and they cost more... and they weigh a lot more... and take up a lot more space...

But the old ones do rot and go mouldy.
Keep them in the safe play. Even in the larder. But don''t tell the other half
