    Default My MAME Cabinet

I'm new to this site but figured I'd post up about my current MAME cabinet. It's not complete yet but I'm thinking I may turn it into a coffee table machine now to save space. Rather than go nuts with text I'm just going to list the specs and post photos.

It uses Hyperspin for the UI
    Hyperspin Front End

The cabinet design is based off of LuSiD's Arcade Flashback
Materials: 3/4" mdf wood, 2x3's, wood screws, gorilla glue

    PC:
2.8GHz AMD Athlon II, 2GB DDR3 RAM, 500GB hard drive, PNY GeFroce 9400GT 512MB video card, ECS NVIDIA GeForce 6100/nForce 430 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

    Monitor: Sceptre 27" 1080p LCD

    Controls:
    X-Arcade Joysticks / 20 Pushbuttons
    3" Happ Trackball Red Translucent
    x2 AimTrack Lightgun Modules
x2 Cheap Airsoft guns to mount sensors
    Keyboard Interface for Joystick/Buttons
    Mouse interface for trackball

    Photos:
    PC & Controls

    Cabinet Supplies:

    Somewhat assembled

    Primed

Control panel mounted & hinged forward for easy access

Dual monitor support. This also shows how massive it is. The tv on the left is 40".

Can't have an arcade without golden tee

Still need to wire up the guns, configure most of the roms, get a marquee, and get a bezel for the monitor. It's already playable for most games and I don't expect to ever leave my place again.

    Looks great! Love it!

Hyperspin rocks. I still need to join emu-movies for all the intro vids.

Golden tee is great. I have to play with joystick since I don't have a trackball.

Hope you've got Daphne setup too!

Congrats on an excellent cabinet build!

Excellent work. Great attention to details. One of the best home-made cabinets I have seen so far..
