    Default My nicotine(yellow),and burn removal

    I have a Sanyo Bussan,which has a white door,and kick-plate,,and a brightly white playing field,,but the ball tray had absorbed alot of nicotine(I presume),,and was dingy yellow,,,Bad!!!
It also had a burn mark..
So after disassembly of ball tray,,I lightly sanded it(the white strip),,with 220 sand paper,,then proceeded with a twenty five minute rub down with some mothers.
I got a pretty good shine going, then switched to the blue magic.
I got a REALLY good shine going,,and then let it sit still kind of wet(didnt wipe it all off),,to let some of the oil soak in.
After a couple of hours,,it was dry(had absorbed the oil)
I then wiped down with ORANGE OIL!!!
The plastic drinks that stuff up,,and all the while shines even better,,while restoring the polymers...

Here are a few pics of the furb...

I wanted to share about the orange oil part,,I didnt know if it had been discussed b-4.

I am gonna post some more pics of the whole machine later...

Great technique! Thank's for sharing. I will try this on my next restoration.

    I am pleased to say,,YES!!!
If it ever(in future)starts looking dull,,,I will just hit it with some more orange oil...

    ALSO>>>>>>I FAILED to mention,,,,,,,,
DO NOT,,,attempt to do this on the CHROMED plastic,,there is only a thin layer of the actual chrome,,(a couple of mils. thick),,and any sanding on it will result in white bare spots.
Use only the mothers and blue magic on this stuff...
I had some buffing out help with this little do-dad,,(see pic),,,got it for $1.50 at goodwill..
