My Schnauzer started off at that size but he's now a 135 Lb lap dog.
If you haven't grown up by age 50 ... you don't have to!

samson is a mixed breed schnazer, he has short legs like a scottie
he will be 11 in november and weights around 30 pounds now

Giant Schnauzers get MIGHTY huge and they DO think they are lap dogs! I had a miniature black one after my Skye Terrier passed... I have a Dandie Dinmont Terrier now and she is really cute! But I still remember my mini black named Addie! Brings back a lot of great memories...
