A year in storage and 2/3 pachislos not working. HELP!

As one of the evil, nasty people who only keep pachislos as slaves, hiring them out to all and sundry as part of a Fun Casino business, I've been treating my machines less than perfectly.

They've been in storage in my garage for a year, since we last used them.

One, 'DanceMan', fired up and worked perfectly. However, the other two, Lara Croft Tomb Raider and Thunderbirds, didn't fair quite so well.

Both power up and illuminate. However, Thunderbirds just show the letter 'E' in the credit window, and 'Lara' shows three dashes --- in the window.
When I try to perform a master reset on Lara, I can change the difficulty level but, when I depress the 'start game' lever, it feels a bit odd and doesn't seem to progress the master reset process.

Again, on Thunderbirds ( I understand that there are two Thunderbird machines. This is the royal blue one with the red lights across the top), I cant get it to do anything except display the 'E' in the credit window and I can't remember where the difficulty change button is on this model.

All help is greatly appreciated and comes with a promise that, if I can get these machines back to working order, I'll pamper them a bit more in future!

unplug and reseat all the connections you can find, its usually a poor connections somewhere

if rhis doesn'w work try cleaning the contacs on all cables

mske sure the pachislo is shut off first before doing this

Your Thunderbirds Pachi is a 2004 Machine. I have an Arraking here which is a 2003 Machine. On Arrakink the Odd's set button is the round button on the power supply just below the inner key and just above the two slide switches.

Reset procedures. :

1. Pachi turned off, turn inner key to the right.

2. Turn on Pachi.

3. Press Odd's button till 1 - 6 is selected and displayed on the front of the door.

4. Press and hold the spin knob for 5 seconds and release.

5. Turn the inner key to the left and you are done.

I had one recently that would not reset unless i had both the innder key turned on AND the outer door key turned to the left( or hold the metal linkage if you dont have a key)

once i did that, mine finally reset and i was able to set odds and play!!

the one that won't reset, sounds like a sticky or dirty button is preventing the spin knob from working.
