Hello neko_noir, what brings you to PachiTalk
I just picked up my first two pachis. One is a nishijin b and the other im not totally sure of but its a daiichi octopus themed. I just started on the restoration and this group shows up a lot in searches. One machine had a back panel and english instructions. Once the panel was pulled off I found it had been restored and converted previously so it was just a matter of cleaning it up. The daiichi is another story and I'll probably be asking to help soon.
How about you tell us a bit about yourself, neko_noir.
I first discovered pachinko in a haunted trails in the mid 90's. They had one converted for tickets and I got hooked. 15 years later I've got a house with a basement being converted into an entertainment mecca. I'm divided on projects right now so progress will be slow. Vintage gaming center setup (I have every video game I've ever owned starting at nintendo). Pool table is in progress of resto(not bad just needs sprucing up) Darkroom is still in progress (have multiple enlargers in various states of repair along with chemicals, tanks, and other equip) Bar is soon to follow along with a pinball machine and a mame machine.
Ohh, and I'm from the City of Chicago where I work as a firefighter/emt.
