    Default New Machine

Hello! I picked this machine up from craigslist for $50 this afternoon. The machine looks in pretty good condition (the wood is kinda dry and the back graphics are cracked a bit). It is very similar to the one I used to play at my grandmother's place! The machine only came with about 20 balls. I sent an email to the pachinko man to see if he has a manual for it, so I can get it up and running again. I have a couple questions for the group.
Where is a good place to get new balls for it, and what is a decent price for them?
For $50, does it look like I got a good deal on it?
Looking at the back of the machine, can you tell if anything obvious is missing (other than a container to catch the balls at the bottom)

    Thanks!!

    dont see anything missing..

the best place for pachinko balls is e-bay.. there lots for sale... and members hear have them for sale as well...

50 seem like a good price for it depending on your location i have seen machines like that sell for 100..00

take your time and get the ball jam undone and ya should be good to go...

Welcome to the group. There is lots of good hard to find information in the Research Center at the top of this sight. We here, are from all over the world, very helpful and friendly. Some have a few, some have arcade rooms full of games from japan.
Here is a nice easy to make frame, it can hold lots of balls. Having a frame like this also helps the pachinko from falling over.

Cool beans, that is similar to the cabinet I was thinking of making for mine, since the wood is all old and dried out. I was also thinking of having the metal ball trays in the front, cleaned up and chromed, what do you guys think?

That page is like watching something recorded on your DVR only to find out it cut off the ending! I'm all ready to see page 2 and...nothing! I'm left hanging in pachi cabinet cut off ending land!

I hope that didn't come across as a diss! It was more of a "I'm very excited because I finally see a way that I don't have to stand there with a bucket of balls" kind of statement. I'll think of it more like the series cliffhanger before the summer break kind of thing.

    Cool machine!

I'd say $50 is a decent price, and you'll probably find it the best entertainment value around once you get your balls.

Just realize, $50 is just the beginning, because odds are, if you're here, you'll be buying more... many, many more... bwa-ha-ha

    Congrats and enjoy!
