Restoring Model B Nishijin
First , I have to say WOW!! I am very glad to have found this site!
I have a Nishijin Model B (from what I have been able to learn so far).It is in very bad shape but I hope to restore it to operating condition.It is from early to mid 70's and was bought for me when I was a child.It has been sitting in an old barn for about 20 years and when I saw it I thought it would be a great project to restore it.I have started with removing the plastic ball tracks in the back.I have reached a point where I cant remove the part that "says" NISHIJIN and SOPHIA on it and am at a stand still.I started removing the ball tracks,supply tray, ect. from the top down...not sure if this was the correct sequence or not but I need some help at this point.I have ordered a manuel from an online source that I am sure most of you have heard of, hopefully this will help too.
This website is very informative as I have spent a few hours going thru various threads and topics, but maybe I am missing something here and someone can show me a thread or area that deals with this infomation.
