Default Top Gun Semi-Cyclic Mod Underway; Battle Counter Recs?

Yep. Cuts are made and I'll install the ramp this 4-day (for me) weekend. I love Mr. Dremel.

It may actually be a Semi-Semi-Cyclic, because the balls that don't make the playfield will still fall to the lower tray. I can deal with that.

Any suggestions for a Battle Counter? I'm not sure I'm up for a Japamart purchase.

Default Re: Top Gun Semi-Cyclic Mod Underway; Battle Counter Recs?

The mod is complete. I guess it is really a Cyclic Mod (with the exception that the balls that are shot but don't make the playfield fall to the lower tray). I am a big fan. Battle Counter next.

The mod was fairly easy. It took about two hours (I could do it again in half the time), some scrap plastic, a Dremel and glue.

I cut my machine first, then fabricated & installed the long ramp. Then fab'd & installed the two "hole-filler" triangles. The rose colored rectangle is the ramp that bridges the drain hole from the front of the machine to the ramp I installed. This took some trial and error to make sure it was big enough so that the balls crossed to the ramp, but small enough that I could close up the Pachinko machine.

First picture shows my cuts in a red dashed line.
Second picture shows the 5 plastic pieces I fab'd. The piece outlined in the gray dashed line is under the other two pieces and is there to simply connect the two pieces on top of it.
Third picture shows the completed mod minus my overlays.
