getter mouse locked?

I got a getter mouse machine w/ tokend inside. there is no key. How do you open either getting new key or replacing lock set? The wife says either it plays or it goes. HELP.

i don't have a pachislot,but other members have been able to open them without a key.i believe there is a hole on the machine where you can reach in and manipulate the locking mechanism.someone else who has done this should be along shortly.

yep there is a hole in the bottom of the machine.. slide it forward and reach up threw the bottom..

after you open it, you can shim the bracket in the open position or like one member did remove the latch sping

I read the information to unlock the machine. My cabinet is solid on the right and left sides and the bottom of the machine. the back has several venalation screens small openings, a large screen by the boards I can see and several small round holes that I cannot even get to the lock because of a plate below the lock from the one hole and can't see to get from the top hole. I will take some pictures tomorrow and post for additional info. Thanks for your help so far.

I played it for approx 5 min then got 3 oranges in a line and it started playing music and the "wait" light lit up and the music kept playing. In the coin slight light it says C.o. I tried to use the key to open the front but the lock mechanism just clicks and don't really open. Actually the left side feels like it loosens up more then the right side which has a key. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

if all else fails you can set the machine in a table.. turn it so the right side is hanging over the ecge of the table.. there should be a hole bigenought for ya to get your hand up inside the machine and trip the dorr latch by hand or with a tool..

In some rare instances, the plug is not removed from the bottom of the machine. It is usually on the right side of the machine near the edge and looks like an elongated oval. Worst case scenario, you can use a hammer and knock the plug out.

Here is a photo from a pachislo from ebay. If you look at the right bottom of the machine, you'll see part of hole. Let us know how it works out.
