Default Pick up last night at auction

I got this at a auction last night for $8.00. It is a Takeya can't fine a year number on the sticker, so if anybody knows or a good guess would be nice so I can date it. I am calling it "Hobo Honey"

Probably early 70's in my opinion.

Is that a mushroom? Looks like a "mushroom head" to me

Great price! This one will test your skills for sure! Have fun!!

I've always thought that the restoration process is rewarding...bringing a dead machine back to life can be a lot of fun...this one needs help, but for $8.00 you didn't lose anything, and I for one will be interested to see the cleaned up product...

Good luck and keep us up to date with pictures of the restoration...
I'm not addicted to Pachinkos. I can quit at any time. Did I tell you about the three machines that I have on the way?

Best photos of stamp I can get. I may have been to qick to name it, Mushroom head, Bee Keeper, or Hobo Honey? A lot of good names but what to call it? I will let PachiTalk name it, most votes of the three by sun set CST on 8-8-10 will be the name.

I check the all of the stamp with a 10X lens, and other then the 243 there are no number on the stamp. Do you think that 243 is for Feb. 1968?

    Cool..Great price!!

I like Bee Keeper..I like the idea of the mushroom headed guy being the keeper of they hives and bees!!

What happens when a ball goes in his head, something with the spring in his mouth or his nose??

I can't wait to see how this one turns out!!

As much as I would like to restore this one, there is a major part missing from the front upper ball tray and I have only seen one other Takeya machine on the internet. I am thinking they are rare and finding parts will be impossible, sad to say it is looking like its going to be a parts machine

Could you make something up so it could be fed like a single shot? It would be a shame not to use it in some fashion.
