Hope you enjoy seeing this one which i purchased for $7.00 at the Yokohama Navy Exchange in 1969. Picked it out of about a dozen on a rack as the best one. Played while stationed in Kamiseya and Hawaii and shipped home to Georgia when discharged from Navy in '73. Haven't played until about a month ago after coming across this site and becoming inspired to get it going again. plays great. have played a little every day the last month. love it. keep up the good work on the site.

Did you need to do much work to get her going again after being stored for so long, or was it just a case of cleaning and adjusting??

just cleaned off the dust and she started right up. i did install a 9v battery holder to replace the 9v transformer i was using in japan. i wouldn't trade for a gold plated monkey.
