HELP with LED Yamasa NeoPlanet T

ok, when I turn my NeoPlanet T on, the LED display over the wheels come on for a few seconds showing a bunch of scrambled lines, almost throughout the entire display, then quickly turns off. Everything else on the machine is working fine, except the LED display. I did unplug/replug the wire going to the led that connects to the board, have also did that for all other connections the board with no luck. I have had no issues with this machine, then it just started doing this one day. Any suggestions?

after it shuts off, it is off...I shine a light through the back, and it doesn't show anything...

Anyone? I have read many other posts and have tried everything. Checked for crimped wires, reset all connections, etc. The LED display shuts right off after a few seconds. LED itself? Power supply? Anyone have any ideas?

I don't have any ideas but I did find this old thread..Might be something to check!!

Thanks MrGneiss, I got all excited reading the thread. But unfortunately, I went through, checked and cleaned all the connections under the coin slot, and still have the same problem. I wouldn't doubt if it is something as simple as that though. The search continues...Thanks.

Do you mean LCD not LED? it may be a capacitor blew in the video circuitry. Examine them carefully for any signs like swelling or smoke at their base or on the board.
