Latest Arcade Game - Nintendo Red Tent
Found this beauty on Craigslist today and purchased it for a good price. It is a Nintendo Red Tent. Usually found in restaurants and bars in the mid-1980's. Unlike most arcade cabinets in the USA, these machines were built in Japan and imported. They use the standard Nintendo Vs. board and are capable of running two separate games at the same time. My machine has Golf dedicated on one side and Baseball on the other.
It does need some repairs, though it's mainly cosmetic. It does work perfectly, though the owner said said it was broken. They supposedly plugged it in and it didn't work. When I got it home earlier today I plugged it in and it worked fine. Just needed to flip on the power switch. It needs a lot of cleaning and a fresh coat of black paint around the joystick area. There are a couple buttons that also need to be replaced.
