after doing some research this style was made from 1954 to 1979.

so its at least 30 years old and possibly up to 55 years old

I love navy collectors! We had a slide from a 1915 Colt 1911 navy model (SN was in the 97000 range if I remember) We paid about $250 for it and sold it to a collector for $2800 within a month
