Default Any way to fool hand on chromed ring sensor?

Is there a way to fool a pachinko and make it believe the ring is turned by a human hand? maybe using some lectronical circuit?

I would like to make my own ring but of course I don't have what's need to put chrome on it and make it touch sensitive, So if I build an other ring using plastic, I'd like to bypass the "real hand" detection circuit. Is it possible?

I will have to disassemble the knob to see inside, I don't remember who it's made inside..

What you mean is that there is a detector wire connected to the ring, and I have to put this wire to ground? I thought it would have been more complicate than that.

When people stuck a token between the ring and the plastic of knob, it doesn't ground it, how does it work?

I think in Japan they wedge a coin in the gap.

Doesn't work that way. If the sensor is enabled, a coin is not sufficient.

However, you can just lay one finger on the underside of the ring (as I do using a rubber band or coin to keep the knob in play) and relax your hand. You only need touch one part of the handle. Seems to be enough to bridge the gap.

Wedging a coin or token must have been to just hold the position of the ring then.

Not easy to see in this picture, but the part with the red wire is an auto shoot. It clamps around the shooter knob, will hold it it what ever position you set it for and the other end of the wire has a small magnet attached that you stick to the lock, should make it shoot all day

Cheapest, easiest solution - wrap some rubber bands around the shooter knob in such a way to hold it where you want. Get a length of wire, attach an crimp ring terminal to one end, and strip the other end bare. Stick the bare end under the rubber band, touching the shooter knob touch ring, and attach the other end with a magnet to the lock.

If you're willing to do some semi-informed tinkering:

My Nishijin Miracle Force had the shooter sensitivity pot cranked all the way up when it arrived. It would shoot without anything touching the metal.

If you can trace the wires coming out of the back of the shooter, one may lead to an assembly that has a potentiometer (I say 'may' because all my machines are last century... not sure if the newest moderns have the same adjustment). If you can find it, try fiddling with it!

If that doesn't work, you could find the sense ring wire in back and try connecting that to the frame... exactly the same thing compirate suggested, but in back. (And riskier because you could pick the wrong wire... be careful.)

On my Sankyo, the pot is mounted right on the shooter motor. On two Newgins, it is on a box near the shooter motor (two pots on Newgin... one for sensitivity, one for how hard it shoots), and on a Nishijin it is on the other side of the machine. Heck no!!! I'll be drinking with my left hand, one-armed push-ups with my right. Typing out work e-mails with one foot and playing Halo Reach with the other. While playing pachinko!

    Efficient, not lazy!

Didn't had the time to try it yet, busy working outside the city for a couple of month, but I will let you know what I find out when I check it
