Well I hate to point this out but if you read this thread i did reserve a Suite at the Embassy Suites right across from the Expo and will bring a couple of my Pachi's and I will be there Fri Oct 1 -Mon Oct 4 , 2010.

well after a bit of fiddling around..

i have been able to get the Google User Map to work for PT.

you can find the "User Map" under the Community tab on the Navbar.

How to Insert your location

first click on the "Your Entry" link located at the top of the map

once you are there zoom in to your location.
unfortunately there is no way to move a marker to where you are and just click accept
you have to zoom in to where you are and then center the map on your location..

the center of the map is where it will place the marker

then fill in the Marker title: Username
and Marker text: short description
Url of image: this is optional.. in case you want to post a picture..

then press the "insert the information" button
and you are all set..

A word of warning/advise: the information you will share on this map will be visible on the internet. It might be a good idea to have the marker in the general area of your location and not exactly on your exact location. Again it is up to you to decide what amount of information you share.

Well Suprise , Suprise no one except me was at the LARGEST (400+ Tables) Pinball Expo 2010 in San Rafael ,Ca so Illinois Pinball Expo is coming up this month .

Hey if you want we can do 2011 Pachicon here in Arizona I can probably get a hall rented to accommodate a large amount of machines. We could get our own mini pachi hall going.

Giving this thread a BUMP for 2011

If memory serves, Vegas seems to be the easiest location to meet for those on western side of the U.S. I don't recall what location we settled on for the eastern side. I would like to see if there is enough interest for a PachiCon West in Vegas this summer, possibly late July/early August. If so, I will coordinate a meeting so that we can meet as many PachiTalk people as possible. Also, would anyone like to volunteer to organize a PachiCon East event?

Please post a reply to this thread if you are interested in meeting in Vegas this year. I would like to see how many people I need to plan for.

Well Howdy Folks

The Pacific Pinball Expo (400+ Tables) will be a month early this year : Fri Sept 23,2011 10am -12 midnight , Saturday Sept 24, 2011 10am- 12 midnight and Sunday Sept 25, 2011 10am-8pm

Again I will get a 2 room Suite at the Embassy Suites across from the Expo all Three ( 3 ) days

Last year they had Sterns "Avatar" Pinball and "Ironman 2 " Pinball machines that I got to play to my Hearts content as ALL Pinball Machines at the Expo are set for Free Play (No Quarters , Dollars ,ect )

I could bring a couple of my pachinko's with me so we will have a Pachi-Con as well . Mudfud and I did the Las Vegas Pachi-Con and went to the Pinball Hall of Fame while we were there .
