Kind of reminds me of the carnival game where you shoot water in the clown's mouth. No idea about this one though.

My Google-fu is stong today. That is a Laughing Clown game. They are popular in carnivals in Australia. You get 5 balls and you shoot them while the clowns head bobs back and forth. (not sure how the balls are shot) The total score determines the prize.

I'm guessing from all the pics and stuff since the machines are right at the front of the booths that you would just get balls and place them in the clowns mouth just trying to time it right to get the balls in the high numbered slots...with no sort of throwing or shooting involved!? Just a guess!!
