Pachinko machine error?

I have a Sankyo Julie Pinball machine and after playing it, I started to hear a doorbell sound and a woman's voice - this repeats over and over and it won't stop. The game seems otherwise completely playable but now it talks and rings constantly when it's on. I cannot figure out what is wrong or how to reset the machine. I tried holding in a small button next to the power switch during power-up - the game beeps but then the doorbell/message sequence continues - can anyone help?? There is an LED on the back with the number "6" on it.

My star wars does that when the bottom payout hopper is full of balls.
Is yours empty, or there might be an obstruction internally.
I'm new to this myself, I've never hade my machine apart, but I'm sure someone can give a better description than me. Also there is a frame manual here.

HA ha - that was it! When I emptied the bottom ball holder, the message went away! I even called the Pachinko seller and they didn't know what to do.

Yes, she's telling you to empty the overflow tray below the shooter tray. Pull some of the balls out of that tray and she should shut up

It fooled me the first time too, I had to hunt online for the answer as well

The people at slot-pachinko.com still couldn't help me - they kept suggesting that I check all the cable plugs... : (
