Old Pachinko Machine Not Working

My friend and I found an old pachinko machine. We have been trying to make it work, but it hasn't been. We are pretty clueless about this. We think that there may be balls stuck in the inner workings. All help is appreciated.

What's it not doing?

Good photos but we need a bit more explaination on the problem. Tell us what happens when you turn it on including any lights or beeping sounds. Is the upper hopper full of balls? Does the machine shoot balls? Any sounds are actions when you drop a all into a pocket? etc.

With a bit more info, I'm sure someone will be able to help you in short order.

Sorry for the lack of information. It turns on fine, but when you turn the wheel to fire balls, nothing comes out. On the back, there is a hammer-like thing that we think is trying to launch the balls, but it's not hitting anything. Thanks again!

Is the hammer moving? If so, do you have balls in the tray in the front? If so and it's still not shooting, open the glass in the front (latch in the back approximately where the lock is), then in the front, just inside the glass on the right side should be a push lever to open where the tray is, open it and see if there is anything blocking anything.

Do try to give as much info as possible regarding what the pachinko is doing, is there any lights, sound or error codes / numbers displayed anywhere??

Thanks for the very helpful answer. There seems to be nothing blocking the tray, but there are no balls for the hammer to hit. If I manually load a ball in there, it works fine. Thanks once more for the help.

you have plenty of balls in the back top hopper?? a few hundred or more?/ the balls in the back are for when you win...

then you have balls in the front shooter hopper..

Is the front shooter hopper the one that looks separated in the back hopper? If not, where is it?

it should be the tray right below the cell on the front

Although it's for a modern frame, the items are in relatively the same place:

(some of the more modern things your frame will not have - Chance button, ball loan buttons, etc...)

i usualy try and take them out the way they went in.. try and not force it... the one thing i have learnd about pachinko is that if your having to force it to do something its wrong..

We tried to take a picture, but the camera is too big. We're not sure where the shooter tray leads to, so we can't find out where to push from. Where does it lead?

have you opened the shooter tray and looked at it from behind?

Yes, we have. The only two holes on the back side of it is one that pushes to dump button and one doesn't seem to lead anywhere.

the gentle use of a coat hanger could assist in this problem..

once ya open the front glass there should be a lever most push but some lift..
