Help Resetting Sankyo lucky 7's

Hi everyone.

I'm brand new here and trying to solve a problem for my Father in law. When I was in the Corps my in laws visited in Okinawa and picked up this Pachinko Machine. Well now my daughter hit the lucky triple 7's and the machine won't do anything and it sounds like it needs to reset but I can't find a reset button (and we don't have the front key).

My father in law as been and while it's fun to watch, I'd like to fix it.

When we start it up, the wheels spin, stop at 7's and it startes beeping and flashing an E (which apparently means End) and 5 lights (see the pic). I've attached pics of the front and back. Any assistance would be appreciated and that would make you , him and me.

you dont need a key to open it.. there is a latch on the left side (looking from the back side) about 1/3 of the way down... kinda look orange in the pic ya posted..

you pic has no balls loaded in the machine... what does it do when you fill the top back hopper??? put a few hundred balls in it.. if its empty(as showen) the machine will error..

Thanks Mopar! We got the front open and put some balls in it. plugged it in and did the same thing. While the numbers were spinning the LED showed a 0 and then when it stopped it shows a 3. You can play the balls and shoot them into the machine but the machine doesn't respond. Just keeps beeping. Should I just take it to the dump and order another one on ebay?

Btw, a neighbor when i was growing up had the '72ish Cuda (if that's your type of Mopar) and I've always wanted one. I raced a Vega with a 350 back in the day myself.

could be a loose sensor or a loose connector.

Dump? They bought it back in '97ish. If I'm not understanding the request, I apologize. There was a cable that was disconnected along the left side (when looking at the back). I reconnected and no difference. Thanks for the patience and help.
