Question Just bought my first machine... Super Stadium

It just got delivered and (amazingly) everything seems to be in working order. However, it didn't come with a manual of any sort. Being that this is my first machine, I have some questions for you guys...

    1. I found the volume switch (Still really loud), but I thought that you can "adjust the odds" of the reels. Is there a switch for that somewhere?

    2. THere are three buttons on the front: "Chance" and two other buttons next to it that are grey and have Kanji written next to them. What are they for.

    3. Is there an English .pdf somewhere so that I know what to look for/play for besides just "getting the balls into the center slot"? (I'm assuming that is what the 3 other buttons are for...)

    Thanks everyone!!!

    WELCOME!!!

1 - No you can not adjust the odds

2 - Chance will be used during gameplay, it lights up when you shoud push it for a better chance at a reach

3 - You will have access to the research center after few more posts (I think) and there is a ton of stuff there.

PLAY that's the best way to learn... and aim for the center pocket, that triggers spins which lead to reaches, and FEVER (Bonus rounds)

The two buttons, near the LED display, are used in the Pachinko parlor to dispense balls and get your card back. For a truly FUN way to make your Pachinko experience even more FUN... BUY a Daverob Dongle and cardreader Then those two buttons will do FUN things.

The third button is likely to open the trap doors to empty the balls out of the front trays.

    HAVE FUN

Thanks. Watched a youtube video on Daverob Dongle. Where can I get one of those?

And, sorry for the noob question, but I loaded 200 or so balls into the top storage, hit for the jackpot, but it still didn't dispense any winning balls. Do I need that Dongle for that, or is it possible that there is something stuck so that the winning balls don't dispense?

    Thanks again!!

you can get the dongle from daverob ,he is a member here .check the pachitalk auctions .they are usually listed there .as for the balls not paying out ,there is a metal lever to the right of the ball hopper in the ball track which may be cutting off the flow into the payout unit . make sure it is flipped to the right .

Yes check that the balls aren't being stopped. Do you get a few balls after you get one in the pocket??

When in bonus mode, you need to be getting balls in the trap door, at the bottom, to win balls (You'll need a LOT to get through a 15 round bonus)

then you'll need to be "bailing" balls to the top to stay ahead of it

    Keep the Qs coming

Thanks for all of the help. But, I think I may be in trouble. Found the Pay off Locking device and it's on. (Balls flow freely down to the pay off mechanism). The dump lever works and I was able to empty the supply tray into the storage cup in the bottom back of the machine.

BUT, the only time any balls come out of the pay-off chute is when I don't shoot the balls hard enough to make it out of the chute. Could it be the pay-off mechanism is burnt out? I made sure the connections were solid and pushed in all of the way. When I shoot balls into the center win pocket, the pay off mechanism doesn't even make a noise.

If it helps any, there is a crazy thing on where a dongle would go. And there is a button with a LED number by it that reads 7 or 3, but it doesn't seem to alter anything.

Again, thanks for any info! I know it's annoying dealing with a noob, but I really want this to work to set off my Man Cave from others!!!

If you don't shoot the ball hard enough, instead of loosing it, it come back to the front, it's normal.

seem to be a payout error. what is the version of your Super Stadium? look at the cell (play field), probably around one o'clock or two o'clock on the blue plastic part I think to the right of the spinner, you will see some japanese writing, it may start with CR...

let us know if it start with "CR" or not?

Also look at the back, you will see two pink connectors on the bottom boards. a really large one, and a smaller one on the other board. check if they are properly sit.

Here are some pics. 1st is the CR number. The second is the whole back of the machine. You can see the LED 7 at the bottom middle underneath the band of black wires. That is where the button is. The third picture is a side shot of the balls in the reward mechanism that stay there, never to move.

Also, what is the extra button next to the on-off switch in the back?

    You guys are awesome!!

the button next to the power switch is the reset button. to use it you hold it in, turn the pachi off, while still holding the buton you turn it back on and hold the button for about 10 seconds. It will reset the ram and test the lights and animatronics.

the 7 on the 7-segment led is a payout error. the payout motor may not be seated right. clear out as many balls as you can and jiggle the part in your third pic and see if it comes loose or clicks into place

No. 7 is out of balls, the upper hopper has to be full (at least to set off the sensor) for the payout mech to work

Welcome to PachiTalk! Glad you got it working and that it was as easy as needing more balls in the top hopper. That's an error most people make. I even made that error with a vintage pachinko. LOL.

If it just looks like some capacitors or diodes shoved into some holes maybe with some hot glue, then that is your dongle, its just one without the plastic plug housing on it, and if balls are shootin' then its all good!!
