Collecting a Series

I saw someone comment the other day about picking up a Hanabi model to complete their series.

How many people like to get machines based on a common theme?

I know lots of us like to mix it up, but there's a part of me that's interested in the evolution of a theme over several model years of machines.

If I had room for a bunch more machines, I'd consider it. Especially the early versions that evolved into something special, like Neo Magic Pulsar.

The only time I've seen people interested in collecting a series was with Neo Planet and people wanting the second generation Neo Magic Pulsar. And again, to a lesser degree, with the 15" LCDs where someone gets Hanabi, Monkey Magic and Beast Sapp (and now Sinbad's Adventure).

But something like that other poster mentioned does sound more interesting - collecting the entire Hanabi series. The Pulsar series might also be interesting.

Right now pachislo.com has 4 models of the Kyojin no Hoshi series.

I was the one who is working on the series, SLOWLY, due to my *Cough* parents and their resistance from me building it up quickly, I only have ONE at the moment. Im so tempted to by the 59.99 0-Hanabi Machine on Pachislo.com right now, but I cant! So I wait (
