Oh my..Wow..Every few minutes Germany would just be down at the England goal all alone!! It could have easily been 7-1..And another game with another goal that some how wasn't..

Argentina 3 : 1 Mexico

Oh my again!! Yet another game with a bad goal..this time one that shouldn't have been..That makes 4 games I've seen with obvious mistakes by the refs regarding goals...Ok, back to the game..After that first goal that shouldn't have been..A Mexican player just sort of passed the ball to the other team Right in front of the goal!! After that Argentina just controlled the game..


So Germany and Argentina move on to The Quarter-finals!!


Now for today's matches...

First we have at 10:00am (ET) on ESPN in the US..

Netherlands vs. Slovakia

And then at 2:30pm (ET) on ESPN in the US..

Brazil vs. Chile

a battle the likes of which we have not seen since May of 1940..

errrrr wrong type of battle..

Well, who won??


Uruguay 2 : 3 Netherlands

Orange makes it all the way and Uruguay head to the loser bowl!! It was a Very evenly matched game..It seemed like they spent most of the game in the middle of the field..The Netherlands scored first from about a million miles away!! But Uruguay came back with a goal before the half!! And there was a good kick to the face some where in there too!! Halfway through the second half the Netherlands scored again but it should have probably not counted due to off sides..But then they scored again less than 4 minutes later and its seemed to be over..BUT in the 92nd minute Uruguay scored again and then it was like 2 or 3 crazy last minutes where it looked like they could have tied it but it didn't happen!!

So with that what at one time looked to be an all South American Final just came no where near to happening!!

So the Netherlands move on to the Finals on Sunday and Uruguay head to the 3rd place game on Saturday!!





Now for today's Semi-final match!!

Germany vs. Spain...At 2:30pm (ET) on ESPN in the US!!

Lets see if Germany can score 4 points for the third game in a row!! They also scored 4 in their first Round of 16 game!!

Germany played like suck!! I was expecting so much more after seeing what the could do in the last few games.. But they Never seemed to have the ball and only had like 2 shots on goal to Spain's 10 at the half..I mean I didn't even know what color Spain's goalie was wearing..They never got to that side of the field..Oh well, they were just bad..Not England bad, but still bad!!


So it will be Netherlands vs. Spain in the Final on Sunday!!

And Uruguay vs. Germany in the losers cup on Saturday!!
