My daughter and I settled down to watch the England Vs Algeria game, and if truth be told we were expecting England to win it with no problems, however we couldn't believe just how badly the England team played!!

It was an absolute nightmare of a game from start to finish, where were our Golden Boys?? They certainly weren't playing Football that's for sure...

I do hope they get their act together for the next match, would be a real shame to not get through to the next round

Now for today's games!! Starting today there will be 4 games..2 games will be played at the same time so that means in the US that one game will be on ESPN while the other will be on ESPN2..2 games at 10am ET and 2 at 2:30pm ET!!

First from Group A

Mexico vs. Uruguay...Both teams have 4 points and It looks like these 2 will get through no matter what if I'm seeing things correctly..Unless one of the other teams win and score a lot doing so!!

And..(at the same time)

France vs. South Africa...See above!!

Then From Group B

Nigeria vs. South Korea...0 to 3 points going in..the way the points are if Nigeria wins and scores a lot and Greece loses..They get through!!

And..(at the same time)

Greece vs. Argentina...3-6 going in..Greece can still get through in lots of ways, but they need to score some to beat the ties!!

I didn't get to see much of the first half of the England Match, had to watch the highlights to see the goal!!, but I saw the second half and England did seem to play a whole lot better than their last game, so great to get through to the next round, even though it is Germany!!

It was a good game and went into extra time, but Ghana scored after just three minutes and that was it..We did get a few shots near the end, but it just didn't happen!!

that has to be the worse game i have ever seen in my life

its official the england football team are rubbish

For some reason the England team just never managed to sparkle in any of their matches, I didn't expect to see England beat Germany, but I was hoping for a closer score, a draw even?? but then again if it went to penalties we couldn't compete with Germany...

It was a very uncomfortable match to watch, once or twice England sparked into life, but all too soon seemed to give the ball away and many many times our defence just weren't there!!

At one point I saw what should have been our 2nd goal go in, only to see the Ref not acknowledge it, it could have been the point where the match turned to hope, but it just wasn't to be and Germany fully deserved to be victorious this time, actually i think we were very lucky not to suffer 7 or 8 goals against us

Sad day for English football fans
