Universal Flipper vs Solex

I have both of these machines (Universal Flipper and Solex). They appear to be same machine. The question is this: My Solex autostops and I can't find the mod?? The Flipper plays in usual Skill Stop fashion.
Is this in fact a modification of the Solex or some hidden setting. I don't particularly care for the autostop and would like it to...well stop. Thanks!!

Are the reels stopping quickly or only after a while..and do the buttons still work on the one thats stopping the reels??

Because if the buttons aren't working and it takes a while for the reels to stop then it might be a button problem, since reels will stop automatically if buttons aren't pushed..

It is definitely autostopping, left to right almost right away. You can over-ride with stop buttons if you are real fast!! I have autostop boards on a couple of my other machines and I don't see anything like them on this machine (I see nothing that has been added that is obvious) The problem is that my other autostops will suspend after manually using stop buttons, not this one, it is playing against me most of the time.
Otherwise all functions and buttons work normally.

Thats odd...sorry I don't know anything about autostops and such, but hopefully someone else will have more ideas for you on what might be wrong!!

No problem, I have had several Pachislos (and still do), and this one has had something done or added to it that I haven't run into yet. I'll dig in this weekend and figure it out. Thanks.

Please post Pic's of the inside of your Pachi. Especially the Stop Board (both sides of the 30 pin ribbon connector wired to it) and inner door PC Boards. Being that I am in that Business now, I may be able to track it down.

Ok I found it, a very small circuit board inline to the middle stop button. 13mm square. How it works I couldn't tell you and I still haven't figured how to disable it other than removal.
