Default Can You Identify These Machines?

I think these are pachislos, however the writing does not appear to be the usual kana or kanji Japanese writing. Maybe I'm wrong since this is a new hobby.

Could anyone confirm if these are actual pachislo machines? Anyone know the names of these machines?

They will hopefully be mine tomorrow. Thanks all for the help.

    Thank you Ikaria.

A little update. Large Devil S works, but Lucky Cat doesn't. Hopefully that one is not a big problem to repair. The seller also says she has tokens but can't find them. Maybe Rita can sell me some.

I will have better pictures of the machines once they come home tomorrow! :woot:

Picked them up this morning. Woot!

Lucky cat doesn't seem to get any power. Possibly a fuse or bad power supply. Here's the big problem. The previos owner no longer has keys for either machine.. They have been in storage for years and the keys were lost.

I'm going to drop them off at a locksmith tonight. Odds are they can't key the locks, but hopfully they will be able to replace them.

Reaching in and opening the machines from the inside worked flawlessly. Thanks go out to both Moparformances and Rita for the bypass trick. Now I just need to get new keys.

Here's the good news. Lucky Cat was super easy to fix. It was simply turned off at the on/off switch inside. Plus these machines are packed tight with tokens. (Going to hold off a bit on purchasing more)

What's the bad news you ask? Both machines are showing an E1 code. According to this Youtube thread (Fix error code E1 Pachislo slot machine), it's as simple as opening your pachislo machine, and using the reset key on the machine. I don't have a reset key. LOL either I can get one made, or bypass the switch with a button.

I sure with the lady had the keys. Overall it's been a good day.

I think you made out pretty! They were not broken and you do not have to go out and buy tokens! I am sure the price was right so you made out pretty darn good

you can leave the doors unlocked by moving the double door latch and jamming something between it and the door bracket for a temp fix.

and a regular toggle switch can replace odds key lock

That is a great idea Lucky. Thanks!

Just a followup on this thread.

I removed the springs on the locks for both pachislo machines. Now when the front doors are closed, they don't lock. If I ever get around to buying locks, it is as simple as reinstalling the springs.

As for the missing reset keys, I replace the locks with a push on/push off button from Fry's Electronics. It simulates a key turn when the button is pressed.

Now both machines work perfectly. I had to show them to my parents and they wouldn't stop playing them. lol

With a momentary switch, you'll need to make sure you hold it down while adjusting the odds, and release it after you've locked in the new number with the spin knob.

Good point, but I used a push on/push off switch so no holding the button needed.

(Maybe I posted the wrong link, but that's what the button looks like.)
