Default Nishijin B - Summer Olympics Theme (1976?)

Found this pachi close by and wanted to get a few expert opinions before I look into buying it. Other than some dirt build-up and other normal gunk it looks like everything is there and according to the guy selling it the game works as well as the lights. Comes with approx 300-400 balls from the picture. Anyway, thoughts would be appreciated. Asking $70.

theres a short vid posted there as well

70 seems like a fair price but i sold mine at the height of the Olympics

the one pictured has a bit of a ball jam starting.. and the over flow wire is all bent up but both are easy repairs.. also be aware the ball dump lever need to be reset..

Talking Re: Nishijin B - Summer Olympics Theme (1976?)

Got it for $50 (offered $40) and will pick it up today.

Will post lots of pics once I can get a look at it. Man, I had one Pachi for 20 yrs and now I have 2 more in 1 month. My wife is going to think I am nuts (even more so than usual).

Picked it up today and won't be able to mess with it until tomorrow. Does the center feature do anything special that you (Mopar) know of from the one you had before?

Thumbs up Re: Nishijin B - Summer Olympics Theme (1976?)

Not yet, but I will. Hope that I can get the cell cleaned up good enough that it looks nice as it is caked on with dirt. And the there is a bit of rust on the front chrome. There is a built in hopper extension made of acrylic and a couple of ball catchers for the back. Wired with a transformer and an on/off switch. What is your secret for cleaning the chrome and cell?

for the chrome double 0 or triple 0 steel wool and elbow grease heavy on the grease

for the cell.. I sprung for some cell cleaner last year.. special cleaner from Japan not sure what others are using... (what ever ya end up using, use it sparingly and take your time)

    any one???

    Hey Dave
Saw a can of cell cleaner on YJA a few times. Think it was a yellow can. About 1000 yen. That would mean about $30 with shipping and commision.
    Is it worth it?

Miracle Cloth on chrome does great even on minor pitting. If rust pitting is bad you can try aluminum foil in a ball and get damp with water, rub untill gray paste forms and wipe with clean cloth (use gloves because the gray paste is hard to get off of hands)

yes i think the cell cleaner is well worth it... i can get ya a brush to do the cleaning.. ya need a soft brush that is very absorbent.. the cell cleaner does an outstanding job of loosing the dirt and grime then the brush to lift it off

Mopar, was the diving board spring loaded? Mine just sits on the bottom flat and will not move.
