Default "Fishing" -- What a catch!

    Hello all--

I've been looking around for materials from which to make kayak saddles to support my kayak on the rack on my car. In my search for suitable materials, I visited the local Value Village. I found nothing suitable.

Nothing suitable for kayak saddles anyway. But I did find this: 1976 Nishijin B. The front glass has an urgent notice in red wax pencil "AS-IS" No power cord! Um... ok. But for $14.99, I decided that I could make a coffee table out of it and approximately break even.

It had considerable dust, and I have since learned that the airbrushed clouds on the playfield are actual water stains around each pin. Honestly, I like my naive misinterpretation much better. It came with almost a hundred balls, which is *just barely* enough to play a little, before I have to reload it and override the low ball flag.

I am so stoked! You never know what you'll catch when you go Fishing!

    Awesome Find!
This is what i used for My kayak. The price was right for the time. They have sales almost every month.

I know they are a little expensive, But I spent 4 months building a 17 ft mahogany Kayak in my garage and I wanted it to be cradles well.

Nice!! I have a Nishijin with the exact same cell and framing, but with a dolphin centrepiece. It's even got the same water damage on the cell!

Yours is interesting to me because my left and right side tulips are where your yellow pockets are.
