Default A Small Video of My Concade Arcade

Seems like the proper place to post this.

Here is a short video of my Concade. It's my shipping container / arcade. I only have 4 machines at the moment. Bad Dudes vs. Dragon Ninja, Baby Pacman, Nintendo Playchoice 10, and Hard Drivin'.

YouTube - My little arcade in a shipping container

Hard Drivin' is currently waiting for a video board repair. It should be done by next week. I also store one of my cars in there and the space opposite of my machines is used for storage.

    Hope you enjoy it!

I never thought of using a shipping container as a garage / arcade. How did you get it to your place?

I purchased it from a local seller who specializes in used shipping containers. It cost $1850 + shipping. He unloaded it with a large tiltbed trailer.

By the way, its a Japanese built container, not Chinese like most of them. Maybe it hauled new pachinko machines. heh

You know how it's hard to find a parking place for your hearse? This is my solution.

my brother had a 1953 black buick hearse in the early 60's.

my brother had a 1953 black buick hearse in the early 60's with 30,000 orginal miles on it.

we had a lot of fun with it, we even took a trip from chicago to new york.

he and his wife rode in front and I rode in back with his 2 kids

it was a great super station wagon. we took it to freedom land in long island with some other nieces and nephews and at lunch time we opened the back door and had a tailgate party in the parking lot.

some older relatives wouldn't ride in it, my dad did he said where else can you take a round trip in a hearse

Mine is a 1984 Cadillac Deville hearse built by Collins Coach Works, which was the former Miller Meteor company. It currently has 52K original miles. I don't drive it much anymore. Of course I have to listen to Monster Mash and Ghostbusters when driving it on Halloween.

Heat I have, but no AC. Fortunately it doesn't get that hot here in the Pacific Northwest. When it does get warm, I can open the side door and the big doors at the end.

Eventually I want to install a couple of air vents in the roof, but that's not a high priority right now.

Way Cool Indeed. A quick and cheap(?) way of getting a small arcade together.
A great place for Pachinkos, vids, and slots. Pinballs wouldnt work in such a
confined area though. Oh and the Hearse is a nice touch.

with this sort of setup you could in essence sell your entire arcade.

pickup the container put it on the back of a flatbed and away it goes.
    no fuss no muss.

It's a portable pachi-party! Now you just need to get a trailer and hitch for the Caddy.

Just sold my Bad Dudes arcade machine. It will be missed. :sniff:

Now I have room for a new machine though. I'm on the hunt for a Dig Dug or Moon Patrol machine. Of course I could always add a couple more pachi's instead.
