my younger son is unemployed

my 28 year old son is now unemployed

he worked for Abc liquor stores for over 4 years, he was getting 2 weeks vacation and paid medical

they have been trying to get him to quit for the last 6 months, new hires are cheaper for the payroll.

a hundred dollars disappeared awhile back when he was working with a newer girl, they accused him of taking it, he said why would i jeaprodise my job for a hundred dollars, the girl claimed she didn't take it either.

then he made up a deposit and dropped it at the bank thursday, the bank claimed it was 23.00 short, his boss told him either quit or we will fire you for stealing

he's a good honest kid, either he miscounted or the bank messed up.

so, he quit, i told him when he filed for unemployment to put down forced to quit.

i hope he can find another job soon, he's living at home with my ex and she will be on his butt all the time if he's not working and helping out.

i would have held out been fired then made them prove it filed for un fair dismisal

sorry to here it though LD as he now has the trouble of explaining why he left a good job bullying out of work isnt good for the soul it demeans people

tell him to check with a lawyer .if the store accused him of theft ,they have to prove it .

When I was let go from the pawn shop I had much the same thing happening. We had two tweakers working there as well but whenever the till (or "the stash" ,things that did not get run in the computer and the cash stuffed under the till) was short I got blamed for it and even after I was let go it was still just as far if not more off.

Unfortunately not wall work places are fair and there are plenty of bad bosses to go around. It's too bad he worked for one. It's hard to fight stuff like that too in today's environment.
I wish him well on future endeavors and in hopefully getting a better manager!

there is absolutely nothing wrong with painting, that helped pay my way through college!!
