Nah a few of us knew. I have to wait till winter for mine so it MAY cost a bit less but patience is a virtue. I have enough coming this summer. I so want one but one can not get everything at once.

I think "IT" is a hint. One shouldn't capitalize both I and T. Therefore, it must be an I.T. pachinko game. One that is based on Information Technology. The basis of the game is to keep a massive computer network running.

Well, "IT" arrived yesterday

And IT is 'Macross'

First off let me say, This thing is HEAVY!!!

The shipping cost was through the roof, and now I know why.
It easily weighs 10-15 pounds nore than a normal pachinko

It did arrive with some damage to the frame (cracked top plastic) It's not noticeable from the front, but I will contact Kiai to see if I can get a replacement part.

Also, (and much more annoying) was damage to the cell itself.

The animatronics had become dislodged, and required the entire cell to be disassembled to repair it.

Let me tell you about the cell, It's like nothing I have ever seen.

First off, the playfield is transparent (Like Cutie Honey) The animatronics are behind the playfield, as well as, in front of the screen.

There are also several layers of leds, it really is an amazing cell, (It also took 6 hours to repair it )

Sankyo has really outdone themselves with the level of detail that went into this machine.

Every inch of this cell lights up, there is not one part that isn't illuminated.

Now the frame: Sankyo finally went the route of Kyoraku's Big Bang frame, as the have a plug-n-play cell now.

That's right, open the door, flip two latches, and bingo! the cells out

The frame itself is metal sides, with wood on the top and bottom.

The shooter knob has gone back to the Lumina style with the grounding ring.

I'll post later about the gameplay, as I haven't had much time to play it, Yet...
