    Default Ball Management

I'm confused as to how these automatc ball lifters, with their limited capacity, are utilized in pachinko parlors. Has anyone ever seen pictures of the ball lifters or ball management systems in use in pachinko parlors.

Do the lifters take the balls away to another location or outflow pipe as opposed to directly back to the ball reward hopper? That is the only thing that makes sense to me. I would guess that the reward hopper is filled with a separate ball inflow pipe.

The ball lifter is not used in the parlors. They are made only for the after market. They can be made to service more than one machine. How many I don't know. Others here do they have them. Arby is one of the people that has them.

So how exactly are thousands of balls transfered through pachinko parlors then? WHat do they use as their management system, does anyone know?

Thanks, logicprobe. It's interesting that there are so many variations or need for such.

    It takes about 180 balls(?) to prime my setup;
enough to keep the lift tube, top tray, & payout banks full.
Imagine how many balls it takes to run a pachinko hall system :!:
--keep all the transfer tubes full,
--enough to payout Fevers on every game in the place.

    a 1,000,000 balls :?:

I may be wrong but the machine on the right looks like it has a dvd case as a wedge to elevate the balls so they will slide to the hopper. Its hard to tell without the full pic.

I have drilled a 1 inch hole in the top of my cabinet in order to replenish my balls when needed, but I want to cut a larger hole out and try to add something like in the above pic.

    Has anyone tried something similiar?

Sometimes when in fever mode, when I refill the hopper an alarm will go off and I have to turn the machine off to stop it. This happens whether I use the funnel, or I open the machine and refill. Any ideas how to get around this? Is there a sensor in or around the hopper?

Lazarus, They are uses in small parlors/stores, like Ma & Pa food store where thare are only 1 or 3 or even 6 machines.

There is still phyical ball handling invaled, but not to the degree as when you got to be pouring ball in all the time in the top tray.

If you look at these ball Lifters closely, you will see someone has closed the ball overflow chanel. I re-opened up one of mine and I see that you need a larger compassity in the top tray. For when you hit the Fever, but when you are losing the overflow go into a second bin.

    Really kind of Cool!

Note that is why they are a Used unit, but reconditioned.
