Thumbs up my new batman forever pin

just picked up my 4th pin. 1995 batman forever by sega. picked this machine up for a really good deal. and it is a beautiful machine. no major signs of wear and tear.. playfield is in great shape. cabinet is great. back glass is spectacular. this is one of the few machines to use the big 192x64 "supersize" dot matrix display. (so when that goes out on me that will be some $$$.) now i have played a lot of pins in my day but this is one of the hardest machines i have ever played. super fast action. you have to be just right with your shots or it shoots the ball straight down the center, faster than you can even see it let alone react to it. 3 flippers. lots of ramps. 5 in total. including a ramp that goes below the playfield.. the moving bat cannon is great. 3 to 4 ball multiball with the most impossible shots to get super jackpots.. this machine is a must for any collector. i can already tell this machine is going to frustrate any novice player. (thats whats makes it fun) hope you enjoy the pics.

There is a guy not to fair for me he fixes and collects and rents out his place to parties! He has tons of pinball machines I would NEVER have a place for them! This place is basically mini modified warehouse of of machines! That was the last place I saw that pinball, at a party that my daughter went too a few years ago. Nice find!

I've seen Batman Forever before but never played it. I never noticed how big that DMD was before. Where there any other games that used the super large DMDs?

It looks like it's in nice shape indeed. Congrats on the deal.

i believe baywatch, maverick, sega sports, and batman were the only machines with the large DMD. and i know why they quit using them. wow $$$ for a new one.

i wonder why stern is still using the DM displays. seems you can go with an color LCD for cheaper these days.

Garry stern went down that path at a pinball show recently its the cost of programing aparently and also keeping in with tradition of the orange type display that the origonal light up number displays
