Very nice machines and congrats! It's nice to see a Taiyo like mine that has the coin tray and that's the only other example I've seen.
Apparently one has to wake up pretty early to beat Team Lt-Mopar or not sleep at all!!!

Step one is nearly done...

after about 5 hours of work, shimming, and adjusting.. cleaning contacts and checking bulbs..

Buffalo-2 machine is up and working.. pays and pays nearly perfict.. its a neat machine when u get a ball in any of the play field pockets the Buffalo's horns open really slow and then close to give the player an oppertuinty to get a ball in the horns for an easy 7.. the problem is its not so easy If the player gets a ball in the horns or play field pocket #7 (center) a token is paid immediatley

i have a ton of cleaning to do and some repair work to the token catch tray.. but at least all the broken parts are there for repairs..

ther is one small problem sitll present.. when a play is done playing he is suposed to push the red stop button to collect any winnings owed.. if any winnings are owed the machine will pay out up to every token in the machine.. sometimes 5,6 or 10 whatever.. some times it just keeps firing tokens till the machine is unpluged.. Little more work and i think ill have it humming right allong..

if time permits ill shoot a vid before it makes it's trip up north

Videos can wait till you have the taeiyo troubleshooting done. Then clean up and then new glass for the videos. Just think of all the time you could have worked on the taeiyo while you were doing your last post. Just Kidding

Now if you could get us a report on my other machine. I have been extremely busy remodeling my small cave and now have room for at least three more arepachi's. Have only been collecting arepachis since August and did not think I would collect anything else... but this opportunity came up to get a machine that I have not played or know how it works so I purchased it and am going to pick it up in Georgia. Something else for you to fix up for me.

If and when I come home maybe I will come swinging in threw California and let you troubleshoot this one too.

Step 2 is now done..

Kinda the same deal lots of time tinkering and shimming and a bit of grinding... Taiyo is up and running..

Challenge Ball is working perfictly.. play and pays jsut like it should. not even a hickup with this one..

if ya get a ball in the mid center the 4 8 9 and 13 are lit this is considered the Bonus

either the left or right thunderbird's pay a token immediatley and lite the #1

the other pocket's should be labeled 4 and 13 but no token paid

when ya get a ball in the top center Owl it pays out one token immediatley & lights up the #1 one the playfield..

any 4 numbers lit in a row wins a token
any 5 lit in a row wins two
6 lit wins 3
7 lit wins 4
all 8 lit gets ya 8

combinations of 4 on oneside and 5 on the other would pay the sum of the two = 3 tokens

and a total of 10 paid is the max on this machine.. so any combination will end with a max of 10 tokens paid

numbers 2 15 6 and 11 seem to be the hard numbers to hit..

now the hard part... time to start cleaning
